I'm a 20-something, living and working in Tulsa, OK as an internal auditor. I grew up on a farm not too far from here, and try to make frequent visits back home. I graduated from the University of Tulsa with an accounting degree and an MBA.

I love: my family, friends, vacations at the beach, reading a good book, spending dreary days on the couch with a blanket and a chick flick, listening to music, Pinterest-ing, finding new recipes, photography, my dogs, Oklahoma, Golden Hurricanes and TU :)

I wanted to start a blog for a few reasons: 1) I like to think I have a creative side, even if it is small. 2) I used to love to write and missed having that outlet. 3) I wanted to start taking pictures with the "fancy" camera I bought myself and wanted to be able to share my learning with others who are or may be doing something similar. 4) I wanted to learn about something new.
Tickmarks and Tailwags will be a little bit of everything (except maybe fashion - you so do not want fashion advice from me haha!) - some everyday musings from an auditor trying to be creative, some amateur attempts at photography, experiments in the kitchen, and of course cute stories about my puppy dogs!! So, sit back and relax, and welcome to my world.
